Once the legally required conditions for access have been met, the Academic Committee will assess admissions, prioritising the admission profiles. The criteria for assessing applications will be as follows:
- a) Appropriateness of the qualification submitted for admission. Preference will be given to students who have studied subjects that facilitate the assimilation of the knowledge and skills offered by the doctoral programme. For them, priority will be given in the following order:
- 1. Students who have studied a master's degree related to heritage, humanities, history or geography at the UVa, at a foreign university or who come from an international programme.
- 2. Students with a master's degree related to heritage, humanities, communication, history or geography.
- 3. Students who have studied a master's degree at the UVa, at a foreign university or who come from an international programme.
- b) Average of the academic record of the bachelor's degree and the master's degree.
- (c) Letter of motivation and covering letter, if applicable.
- d) Scientific publications.
- e) Academic stays at international centres in the period prior to the doctorate.
- f) Research experience.
